Washington Spirit Coach: Trinity Rodman Won’t Play Until Fully Fit

Trinity Rodman and other injured players won’t be recalled by Washington Spirit head coach Jonatan Giráldez until they are “100% available” ahead of the team’s matchup against the league-leading Orlando Pride.
In the closing minutes of Kansas City Current’s 3-0 victory last month, Rodman suffered a back injury that forced him to leave the pitch in a wheelchair.
Despite having previously stated that it is “not a big injury,” Giráldez, 22, did not accompany the club to their most recent game, a 2-1 triumph over Angel City.
Rodman’s return date was not specified by Giráldez, but he did state that he would not play her until she was “100% available.”
Giráldez said to Futbol W on Tuesday, “For me, the most important thing is to be available but 100% available.” “I think you need to report 100%; 60% is not enough.
You support the team at the most crucial period of the season because the playoffs are crucial. Everyone needs to be available and ready as quickly as possible, but being healthy is unquestionably the most critical factor.
“We have a strong roster in terms of quantity, and we gave other players chances to participate in the final game.
“We need the entire team to succeed, so when we win, it’s a big push for us as a team, but if anything goes wrong and you have other ones, you have to be ready to compete.
