The Developers Of Tekken Releases Update 1.08 Today
The most recent Tekken 8 update patch is now out, bringing with it several quality-of-life enhancements as well as the addition of Heihachi Mishima as a playable character.
Since its January release, Bandai Namco Studios has been refining Tekken 8, which was already a highly acclaimed 3D fighter.
Numerous downloadable upgrades have been made. The roster of Tekken 8 has also seen a few DLC additions, bringing back long-time favourites like Lidia Sobieska and Eddy Gordo.
Heihachi Mishima, the villainous head of the rival Mishima family, was one character from earlier games that gamers certainly weren’t expecting to see again. At the conclusion of Tekken 7, his son Kazuya appeared to have slain him permanently.
Though Heihachi was categorically declared “completely dead” by Tekken 8 producer Katsuhiro Harada prior to the game’s release, it appears that the archvillain isn’t as dead as some initially thought.
Heihachi Mishima was revealed as the third DLC character for Tekken 8 in July, and he will soon return to exact revenge on anyone who stand in his way.
In advance of the game’s release, Bandai Namco Studios published the official Tekken 8 Update 1.08 patch notes earlier today. Heihachi Mishima is now accessible in Tekken 8 Year 1 Character Pass Early Access users thanks to this patch; he will become available to all other users on October 4.
Update 1.08 brings with it more new content than just Heihachi; the Genmaji Temple arena is also being made available for purchase.
