Batman Art Concept Shows A Live Fighting Scene Gamers Have Been Craving Since
Some fans still yearn for what might have been, even after James Gunn and Peter Safran destroyed the Snyder-led DCEU in favor of their revived DCU.
A recent social media post is sure to reignite the debate. With the ability to fight alongside some of the most skilled martial artists in the comic book series and the powers of a super soldier.
Deathstroke is one of the most formidable villains in the DC Universe.
The character has faced off against numerous heroes (most notably the Teen Titans) in a variety of media, although it has never had a major part in the theatrical productions of the franchise.
Numerous fan requests and even Gareth Evans’ experience trying to film a Deathstroke movie during the previous administration prove that this isn’t because of a lack of passion on either side.
But the character would make a fleeting appearance in the live-action Justice League movie in 2017, rekindling excitement in seeing the character play a bigger role in mainstream DC ventures.
The character hasn’t shown on screen again since that brief appearance in an after-credit sequence a few years ago.
The only things that have served as reminders of that version of the character are Joe Manganiello’s recent post of a new profile picture.
Storyboard artist Jay Oliva most recently shared a movie storyboard from the canceled solo Batman movie, which starred Ben Affleck, on his official X account in commemoration of Batman Day 2024.
The board, which has a striking greyscale drawing of Deathstroke pointing an elbow at the hero and wielding one of his signature weapons, shows the Dark Knight and Deathstroke engaged in a levelheaded rooftop combat.
