Acclaimed Anime Studio BONES Forms Offshoot Production Entity

Studio BONES stated this Tuesday that it has separated its production department and founded a new business called BONES FILMS Co. Ltd, with the new firm’s leadership includes representative directors, Yoshihiro Oyabu, as well as BONES founder and president Masahiko Manami.
This revelation comes after the company celebrated its 25th anniversary. As a result, a four-part documentary called Bones 25: Dreaming Forward was produced and released in February.
It is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The news has sparked rumours that BONES FILMS will take up the various projects that the production studio previously released.
However, , they were abandoned, such as Noragami, which is commemorating the release of its anime for ten years, The Case Study of Vanitas, and a number of other projects.
Metallic Rouge, the original anime by BONES, debuted during the winter of 2024.
The production company has had a busy 2020 with the release of several films and TV shows, as well as the much awaited 2025 anime adaptation of Kei Urana’s Gachiakuta.
The announcement of the company BONES spinoff company has sparked rumours that the highly successful Case Study of Vanitas and the supposedly abandoned Noragami have sequels planned. However, no official sources have confirmed these assertions as of yet.
